The Consultant reports directly to the Senior Consultant / Team Leader and assists him as part of a team of consultants to implement projects.

The main duties for the team of consultants are:

- Plan and conduct readiness audits pertaining to crisis management;
- Plan and conduct validation exercises pertaining to crisis management;
- Plan and conduct crisis management training; and
- Plan and manage budget.

**Pre-Requisites and Competencies of Consultant**:
The pre-requisites and competencies expected of a Consultant are:

- Have experience in planning and conducting audits / exercises / courses / workshops / events;
- Possess strong analytical, writing and presentation skills;
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Possess good time and resource management abilities;
- Preferably to have an understanding of the National Security Framework, issues and requirements;
- Preferably to have a good appreciation of the socio-economic and geopolitical environment;
- Preferably to be an ex-Senior Military Officer / Home Team Officer / Public Service Officer;
- Preferably to have at least 2 to 3 years working experience
