Key Responsibilities:
Laboratory Support- Assist in planning, setting up, and conducting experiments in the lab.- Experimental work with rodents in vivo- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and chemicals.- Ensure compliance with safety and health protocols in the lab.
Data Collection & Analysis- Collect and document experimental data with high accuracy.- Analyze experimental data using various software tools and techniques.- Maintain organized records of all research activities, protocols, and findings.- Contribute to the interpretation of results and troubleshooting of experimental issues.
Equipment Maintenance & Inventory- Assist with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials, ordering items as necessary.
Key Competencies and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (for Research Assistant) / Master’s (for Research Associate) in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.- Previous experience in a research BSL2 lab is preferred.- Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and biomedical research methods.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
