- Our client is a fast growing FinTech business, who within a year of turning operational are already generating revenue, and have ambitious growth plans for the short, medium and longer term.

They are looking for Financial Controller to join their growing finance team, to work closely with the CFO on Financial Reporting/Controllership and Financial Planning & Analysis.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Financial reporting and statutory filings, including:

- Managing the preparation of statutory accounts and annual audits, maintain company's ledger, present monthly management accounts, tax filings
- Managing the monthly management reporting and analysis of financials for the group entities
- Determine accounting treatment for products and services

Financial planning & analysis, including:

- Deliver insights to make better business decisions, analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue and costs
- Facilitate budgeting (both annual and periodic) and business planning process across units globally

Finance operations, including:

- Integration and reconciliation of accounting system with business platform
- Oversee operationalization of finance functions, including entity creation, capitalization, process flow and control creation and any related ad hoc requirements
- Liquidity management, including liaising with banks on lending facilities/ hedging instruments as and when required
- Vendor selection, integration and management
- Implement cost control processes across the business and manage internal audit process

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Accountant
- 10+ years experience, with experience within both financial controls/reporting and financial planning & analysis
- Big 4 audit experience with Financial Institution clients
- Prior experience within a fast-growing FinTech / start-up firm
