An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a highly respected private equity real estate investment firm based in Singapore. What You'll Do
As a Financial Controller based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with comprehensive oversight of both corporate and fund-level finance operations.
Prepare and review statutory, monthly, and quarterly financial reports at both corporate and fund levels in accordance with relevant accounting standards, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Monitor financial performance by analysing results and providing actionable insights to enhance overall financial health across multiple business units.
Review portfolio companies’ financial statements, investigate discrepancies as needed, and uphold high standards of integrity in all aspects of financial management.
Collaborate with the Finance Director to manage internal and external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and preparing audited financial statements.
Work closely with finance team members to streamline accounting processes, drive efficiency improvements, and implement best practices across the department.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, proactively updating internal practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles by coordinating preparation of budget files, conducting variance analyses against actuals, and supporting effective financial controls.
Oversee tax computation and filing activities for various entities; coordinate with tax agents to manage exposures while ensuring prompt statutory submissions.
