As the **PR Manager (APAC)**, you will oversee and manage public relations efforts across assigned markets within the APAC region. Reporting to senior PR and Sales professionals, you will play a key role in driving media strategies, developing content, managing third-party vendors and enhancing brand visibility.

This role involves collaboration with regional PR agencies and internal functions to ensure the successful execution of PR plans, while closely monitoring results and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts.

**What You Will Be Doing**:
**PR Strategy & Execution**
- Develop and execute PR plans for product launches, client and partner announcements, and special projects within the APAC region.
- Write and pitch press releases, bylines, and reactive commentary to media outlets.
- Prepare and manage interview briefing documents and materials for spokespeople.
- Organize and oversee journalist interviews, ensuring company speakers are well-prepared.
Work closely with the APAC Sales team and Regional Marketing Manager to stay informed about notable upcoming deals, trends and initiatives concerning the region.

**Media Relations**
- Maintain and expand a network of key industry and Tier 1 media contacts across business, crypto, fintech, iGaming, finance and more.
- Support with securing media attendance and engagement at offline industry conferences and Sumsub hosted events.
Continuously monitor media coverage and create media reports.

**Content Creation & Planning**
- Plan and draft PR-focused materials tailored to specific products and audiences.
- Prepare speaker quotes and presentation slides.
Collaborate with Design teams to brief on and develop infographics and visual assets to complement PR efforts.

**Analytics & Reporting**
- Confidently present PR updates and goals to wider regional Sales team during quarterly meet-ups, and to the Marketing team during syncs.
- Calculate quarterly Share of Voice (SoV) using tools like Meltwater and conduct competitor analysis.
Analyse internal data dashboards to identify potential PR stories, assign tasks related to data gathering, and oversee project progress.

**Agency Management**
- Manage a regional PR agency, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and strategic goals.
- Conduct regular syncs, monitor performance against KPIs, manage budgets, and handle contracts and invoices.
Provide messaging guidance and evaluate agency contributions to ensure high-impact outcomes.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work with internal Marketing sub-teams and broader company divisions to promote Sumsub product benefits and competitive advantages in: identity verification, compliance and fraud prevention.
- Initiate and autonomously execute smaller-scale, ad-hoc PR projects specific to regional requirements.
- Ensure alignment of quarterly KPIs and meet timelines for regional launches.

**About You**:

- **3-5 years of experience **in public relations in the B2B sector preferably, with a focus on product releases, corporate announcements, byline creation, and securing top tier media coverage.
- **Established network **of media contacts and experience in handling press distribution organically and via newswire services.
- **Proficiency in media monitoring tools** for data analysis and internal reporting.
- **Strong writing skills **and the ability to create compelling PR materials tailored to the APAC market.
- **Experience managing** external PR agencies or agency teams, with a proven track record of overseeing activity, monitoring KPIs, and budget management.
- **Ability to manage multiple projects** and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- **Experience with analytics platforms **such as Meltwater and other PR tools for competitor analysis and performance monitoring.
- **Strong organizational skills **with attention to detail and the ability to work independently on smaller-scale projects.
- **A background in corporate communications **or a degree in public relations, marketing communications, or a related field is a plus.
- **Fluent English.**:

- **Mandarin** knowledge will be a plus.
