**Job purpose**:
The Graduate Trainee Programme is designed for recent graduates to be part of the innovation team in facilities management, physical security and infrastructure.

The graduate trainee will learn to:

- Work closely with business/support units to understand operational requirements to provide timely delivery of FM services.
- Gain experience in handling maintenance of office facilities and infrastructure including IT server room and data centre.
- Contract management, outsourcing management, and vendors relationship skills.
- Opportunities to streamline and handle operations efficiently by deploying technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices and sensors to build an all-in-one environment for tracking all aspects of facilities management and creating a positive experience and an agile working environment.

**Key activities**:
The graduate trainee will be involved in:

- Deliver facilities management and physical security services, including managing the service providers and contractors.
- Manage the overall maintenance, repair and day-to-day upkeep of facilities and equipment with regular inspections and implement an effective maintenance program.
- Plan, execute and supervise overall maintenance carried out by service providers and ensure that services rendered are according to agreed standards and timelines.
- Provide project management capabilities for all renovation, relocations and ad-hoc projects and develop cost control measures to ensure project costs are within the approved budget.
- Maintenance, safety and security of office premises including after-office-hour standby support in event of office emergencies, disaster recovery activation, facilities related alarms and physical security incidents.
- Administer access rights to the bank’s premises and issue access cards / passes in accordance with prevailing policies and guidelines.
- Implement, operate and review building management and physical security systems, example door access control, closed circuit television (CCTV) and alarm systems.
- Carry out regular review and controls to meet all relevant requirements according to all internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

**Formal education**:

- Recent graduates with not more than 1 year of professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Bachelor’s in Facilities Management or related field

**Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification)**:

- A fast learner with strong sense of responsibility & integrity, client centric & service oriented
- Proactive and self-initiated
- Strong desire to learn and able to adapt quickly
- Team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality output
