**About the Department**:
The **Group Finance and Corporate Services** function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

**Group Finance**
We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

**Strategic Insights**

**Strategic Insights** team in Group Finance focuses on identifying and tracking non-financial metrics in line with strategic imperatives and plan. These metrics serve as leading indicators to financial outcomes besides improving understanding of financial performance and supporting financial projections. Data insights are also used to engage stakeholders on leveraging advance analytics to identify opportunities to further boost financial performance, in addition to validating business assumptions and building storyboards.

**Responsibilities**:
Part of Group Finance where main responsibilities include:

- Partner stakeholders to frame business problems and identify relevant data to build dashboards
- Uncover trends through dashboards and advanced visualization techniques for data storyboarding and generate actionable data insights towards desired financial outcomes
- Design and build sustainable data assets for data analysis and dashboards
- Automate processes and workflows for timely report creation and regular updates
- Perform data discovery and engineering as new data sources/platforms emerge
- Cross reference independent data sources to ensure high confidence of newly engineered data

**Job Requirements**:

- Strong programming skills, proficiency in SQL, experience with Hadoop and Databases (Teradata or similar)
- Ability to identify patterns/anomalies and conduct relevant investigations
- Understand business requirements and identify relevant datasets to address requirements
- Comfortable navigating and transforming large datasets
- Independent worker with good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and business users
- Experience with Dashboard Development (Qlik/PowerBI etc.)
