**As an Assistant Manager, Technical Accounting (Credit Control), you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Statement of Account reconciliation for both inbound and outbound Fac and treaty contracts
- Coordinating and monitoring past-due balances with cedent and brokers to minimize outstanding amounts
- Make sure that cedent, brokers, and headquarters are promptly paid (Retro)
- Make sure credit control policies are followed.
- Tracking payments to and from brokers and cedents, keeping track of booking receipts and payments, and allocating premiums and claims within the system
- Organize claims payable in coordination with claims handlers.
- Create weekly payment vouchers for settlement.
- Look into and address any issues with nonpayment of premiums or claims.
- Communicate internally and with the cedent and broker regarding unreconciled balances.
- Keeping an eye on and clearing suspense accounts
- Responding to questions from internal and external auditors
- Participate in system upgrade testing

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Relevant experience in insurance/reinsurance industry
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of credit control experience
- Able to communicate skillfully with both external and internal client
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Preferably from **brokering firm**
