**Your new company**

My client is a global general reinsurance company with a strong presence in the ASEAN region. We are looking for a Technical Accountant to join the existing team.

**Your new role**

Joining the broader finance team, you will be responsible for the basic technical accounting needs of the company. Here’s a snippet of the JD:

- Proper processing of Statement of Accounts
- Process Treaty/Facultative Technical and Retrocession bookings
- Handle premium & claims payments
- Update Outstanding Loss Reserves
- Liaise with claims department on payables

**What you'll need to succeed**

We are looking for an experienced Technical Accountant, with at least 2 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. You should possess a relevant degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications. You should be familiar with Treaty/Facultative Technical Accounting, reinsurance regulatory reporting framework, and credit control.
