- Daily review and action of open cases; updating Operations Management on current cases and their status as appropriate.
- Knowledge of ITIL v3 and Intermediate topics is preferred. Certified in ITIL would be a benefit.

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience in MS SQL, Postgres, Oracle & MySQL are mandatory and preferred with Mongo DB expertise.
- Good knowledge in NoSQL Databases on OnPrem and Cloud.
- Consult to define Database administration requirements and policies including authorization requirements for Authorized Users, roles, schemas.
- Develop and document in the Standards and Procedures Manual Database
- Perform review on all database SOP’s.
- Perform BAU support for Customers database in OnPrem and Cloud.
- Perform database backup and restores.
- Perform Service Requests, Change requests and provide resolution for Incident requests.
- Support to develop database solutions by designing proposed system, defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
- Perform DB Hardening as per security standards.
- Perform SQL patching /VA Fixes as per schedule (monthly/quarterly).
- Define and execute database performance and tuning scripts and tools, and keep database running at optimal performance for customer workload.
- Administer appropriate database management tools across all database instances. Performance metrics and historical data must be available for trending and reporting over a specified period.
- Identify locking conflicts, latch contention, rollback requirements, etc., for all database instances.
- Configure and Monitor databases and review DB logs part of daily check.
- Open, track and manage to resolution, all database Problems.
- Provide database capacity reporting.
- Provide primary database maintenance and support including analyzing DDL, gathering backup and recovery requirements, volumetric.
- Provide support for database migration.
