**The role**:
**MyRepublic Group **is looking for a self-motivated individual that is keen on learning the business of building new, transformative technologies into our products & services, our processes and everyday ways of working.

A **Technical Support Engineer** is generally hired by a company to oversee and maintain their computer hardware and software systems. Their skills assist the company in resolving technical issues concerning customer's accounts or company software infrastructure. A Technical Support Engineer will also support computer software integration by diagnosing and troubleshooting common problems. Employees holding this job title generally begin in IT or IT Assistant roles.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Status of task schedulers to ensure proper functioning of all task schedulers and successful completion of all scheduled jobs
- Identify the criticality of incident, problem, change and requests etc according to ITIL processes.
- Keep affected users informed immediately of any service disruption and the expected date/time of resolution through Incident Reports.
- Escalate the incident to the second or higher level of support or the on-site support within the stipulated service level specified
- Initiate investigations by performing troubleshooting tasks should there be complaints from users on system performance issues.
- Escalate the incident to the appropriate second or higher-level support personnel if required.

**Qualifications**:

- An undergraduate pursuing a Polytechnic diploma/ Bachelors programme in Business, preferably in the second/third or final year of studies
- Self-starter with a Get-Things-Done attitude
- Resourceful and learn independently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Be able to speak clear and good conversational English and preferably Mandarin as well
- Possess good telephony skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Highly adaptable with the ability to work well across departments

- Experienced working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Experienced working with partners on commercial deals and collaborations
- Expertise/understanding of the Telecommunications industry
- Proficient in the Google Workplace
