My client is a Southeast Asia-focused private capital real estate fund manager, operator, and developer. They are actively executing value-added asset acquisition and development strategies across the region with headquarters in Singapore and multiple regional offices. The firm manages institutional joint ventures with a primary focus on the industrial logistics and warehousing sector. Investors and partners include global institutional alternative asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and family offices.

The Position

MD/ SVP - Strategic Capital Relationships & Business Development

**Responsibilities**:

- Working within the fund management business, particularly in strategic capital raising.
- Business development; exploring and establishing potential partnerships in logistics investments for SEA region.
- Deal origination and execution on complex transactions including transaction structuring, private capital markets, equity capital markets, M&A etc.
- Maintain a close relationship with existing partners, while actively bringing in new business opportunities with different new partners.
- Drive firm introduction, investment strategy development, due diligence meetings, final presentation and negotiation and legal documentation leading to fund/joint venture formation.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in PERE, SEA logistics exposure preferred.
- Extensive network in real estate private equity investors. Proven track record in fundraising and cultivating strong investor relationships.
- Business Development skill set.
- Possesses sharp problem-solving and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and close complex transactions.
- Asian language competency preferred.
- Energetic, resourceful with the ability to bring in new business.
