This is a project-centred role. The employee’s responsibilities will not change for the duration of the project, but may be reviewed and renegotiated relative to the needs of subsequent projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create Real Time VFX and UI VFX for mobile games using the Unity engine
- Implementing VFX to complement UI and existing game assets
- Collaborate with artists, game designers, and programmers on the look and function of VFX
- Assist programmers in optimising effects to ensure an acceptable FPS and stable mobile gaming experience
- Ensure stylistic consistency and respond readily to feedback
- Be flexible and pragmatic in balancing edit requirements with the production schedule
- Work with other artists to create efficient solutions for building the look and feel of the game
- Where applicable, tap on experience to assist in miscellaneous development tasks
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience in the video games industry
- Knowledge of Unity, Photoshop, After Effects, 3d software (preferably Blender or Maya), and Live2d software
- Able to create assets and materials within Unity, that are optimised for mobile
- Able to create prefabs using URP Shaders and particle system
- Understanding of fundamentals like clarity, timing, and shape language.
- Experience with producing Live2D VFX animations
- Experience with producing 3D VFX animations
- Experience with Rigging and modelling 3D VFX assets
- Able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Plus Points**
- Experience working with a wide variety of VFX tools in different artistic styles
