Part-Time Lecturer for DM5001 Web Design (Interaction Design)

Web Design, a 13-week introductory course, initiates students to the fundamental concepts of designing and developing for the web with a focus on front-end design. The course introduces HTML, the core principles of CSS, JQuery, and other frameworks through hands-on demonstrations. Key development fundamentals of HTML and CSS will prepare art/design students for coding environments and more advanced programming languages. Students will learn to develop User Interface Design through Wireframing and prototyping and examine the most current design trends and technical requirements, such as responsive web design. This course prepares students for learning more advanced web development principles, working with Content Management Systems as well as hands-on, professional web development.
