IT Support Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Physically install endpoint devices, including HP codec/camera, HP compute, HP touch control, and additional microphone units such as Sync or Trio.
- Perform wall-mounted equipment installation tasks, including drilling for mounting displays and AV equipment, running cables (HDMI, Power, USB, Ethernet) within the room, and mounting displays (up to 2 under 85") and cameras using HP mounts.
- Update and configure all HP/Poly components to ensure compatibility and functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing of audio and video functionality to ensure quality performance.
- Provide orientation sessions to end-users on the proper use of all installed equipment.
- Maintain a clean workspace by neatly stacking all packing materials for disposal by the customer or disposing of them in customer-provided receptacles on the premises.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in audiovisual installation and configuration, preferably with HP/Poly equipment.
- Familiarity with endpoint devices, wall mounting procedures, and cable management techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and provide equipment orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Flexibility to adapt to various room configurations and customer requirements.

The rates for room installs will vary based on the following categories:

- Focus Room
- Small Room
- Medium Room
- Large Room (including additional audio equipment)

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $180.00 - $200.00 per day
