Securitisation Portfolio Manager

**Role summary**:
We are looking for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Distribution team. The individual will have a positive and friendly attitude with the primary area of responsibility being to manage the optimal deployment of investor funds within Olea’s securitisation and warehouse structures. The individual will also work closely with other teams within Olea to develop business enablement initiatives to further Olea’s distribution capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight of asset allocation to portfolios consistent with eligibility criteria and Olea’s allocation policy.
- Oversight of the replenishment of the portfolios to ensure that they generate the desired returns for investors and do not breach any portfolio covenants. This will include:
a. Having detailed familiarity with the key securitisation documentation.

b. Preparing and maintaining dynamic financial models for each portfolio.

c. Providing weekly overview of the cashflow position and forecast to the management and managing the cash allocation for each compartment.

d. Propose and implement metrics and tracking to measure liquidity and burn efficiency of each compartment

e. Recommending course of action to CEO to remediate actual or potential shortfalls or breaches

f. Recommending investment options for surplus cash to CEO
- Responsible for evaluation of the use of Trade Financing Line or Loan facilities before sell down to compartment (i.e. warehousing).
- Operational support to investors, including facilitating reviews of the portfolios or potential assets for the portfolios.
- Plan, coordinate, manage operational procedure for new transactions/ products.
- Improve and streamline operation / administration procedure, prepare manuals.
- Working with the Risk Management team and Digital Solutions & Implementation team to develop tools and ultimately a robust automated system to support the portfolio management role.
- Support any other ad hoc securitization projects.
- Support audit, compliance matters.

**Role specific technical competencies**:

- Technical (legal and operational) knowledge of securitisations and securitisation vehicles, particularly with Luxembourg entities
- Understanding of the buy-side investment process and experience in day-to-day interaction with investors
- Modelling skills
- Knowledge of trade finance, especially receivables finance
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Highly articulate in verbal and written communication

**Qualifications (training, licences, memberships, and certifications)**:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent is required
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated ability to own new business initiatives with confidence and a sense of urgency
- Comfortable to face challenges and see them as an opportunity to learn, grow, and innovate
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good team-player, but also able to work independently and make logical decisions with integrity
- Strong motivation to join a fintech
