DESIGNATION : Senior Security Officer/ Security Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance security operations and mitigate security risks and threats.
- Partner with appointed security agencies to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations and compliance with security protocols.
- Plan and conduct security operations audits.
- Comply with Company Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Coordinate, schedule, and oversee all security-related activities in areas of assignment adhering to company policies, guidelines, and operating procedures, while maintaining full compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination within and across Departments.
- Oversee the resolution of security-related inquiries, incidents, and emergencies to ensure the security of designated facilities.
- Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies on security-related matters.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all security equipment and systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, and metal detectors, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare of weekly and monthly activity reports along with security incident reports, if any.
- Manage the issuance of passes for contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum qualification of GCE ‘O' Level or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a security supervisory role with proven leadership capabilities.
- Possess WSQ Certifications in "Monitoring & Reviewing Security Operations" and "Manage Security Agencies within the Legal Framework".
- Valid PLRD Licence.
- Certified as Port Facility Safety Officer (PFSO)
- Proficiency in security technology systems (e.g., access control, visitor management system, CCTV surveillance system).
- Ability to manage security matters outside of regular office hours on occasion.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Prior experience with uniformed groups (e.g. SPF) is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform site walks periodically.
