**Your role**
Our major Oil & Energy Downstream Client is urgently looking for OT Security Engineer who will be part of Manufacturing Engineering Division, under the Instrument Engineering department. You will be part of the team responsible for the site Decentralized Control System (DCS) and Instrumented Protective System (IPS) upgrading and improvement project.
The main role of the OT Security engineer is to support the execution of Decentralized Control System (DCS) and Instrumented Protective System (IPS) upgrading and improvement project and also to ensure the implementation is in compliance with the industry’s best practices (Projects), IEC62443 and industry standards. This mainly involves:
- Implementing and managing access control and user profile for servers and networks (Active Directory)
- Design and validating the setup of OT network and architecture according to project design requirements
- Configuration of network devices such as firewalls, switches & routers
- Performing end point security on OT systems (OS security patching, antivirus, whitelisting)
- Setup/restore virtual machine(HyperV, VMware)
- Conduct/Participate in Cybersecurity Risk Assessment
- Implementing IT solutions to improve the security and monitoring of our OT environment
- Configuration and troubleshooting of tunneller software like Matrikon / Kepware, OPC UA
- Ensuring that implemented security controls and countermeasures works as intended
- Optimize system resource through configuration and setup
- Planning for mitigation plans for the execution
The OT security engineer is to ensure proper documentation and records as well as following the management of change process. You will also be required to provide technical support for maintenance to ensure the control system performance and reliability meet the design requirement to ensure stable operation.
You will be expected to work closely with OT Security Assurance team, various discipline engineers and vendors. He/she is also expected to participate in activities like Factory Acceptance Test/Site Acceptance Test for DCS and IPS systems and commissioning support.
**You are we are looking for if you**:
- Have minimum of 5 years work experience from IT and OT control and automation disciplines
- Have minimum of 1 year work experience on Network and familiar with switches and firewalls
- Have Computer Engineering degree preferred
- Have worked on and implemented cyber security solutions in process automation system and network
- Have proven, hands-on experience on automation system projects engineering and implementation
- Are well-versed with OT Security engineering standards and best practices
- Have working experience in an oil and gas manufacturing or similar manufacturing process or related projects
- Have IEC62443 certification preferably
- Are able to remain focus and manage stress under tight timeline
- Are able to manage work priorities and deliver results independently
- Have good communication skills and team player
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
