Summary

We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Distribution Officer (O1) You will be part of the Distribution team and will be assisting the GDS and Interline/Codeshare technical teams with admnistrative activities.

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- A member of the GDS Agile Squad, the incumbent is expected to provide technical support for the GDS sales channel
- Understand travel trade pain-points and use-cases, provide recommendations that fulfil travel trade requirements, and address travel trade queries and concerns
- Work closely with travel trade and sales to increase pipeline conversion, grow revenue, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Responsible for staying current in technology and market trends, to provide feedback and identify gaps between current product functionality and market/travel trade demands
- Surveying the market technology and trends, analysing customer inputs, so as to identify gaps and provide improvement feedback
- Assist in delivery of company’s services via GDS to partners worldwide

**Requirements**:
- General Diploma, with relevant Sales/Commercial experience in Aviation (preferred)- Willingness and enthusiasm in learning- Ability to cope with the fast-paced working environment, remain calm and clear-headed in times of crisis to support sales operations- Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information- Self-starter, excellent communicator, and strong team player- Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written in English
