- LAI games is growing, and we want to expand our support to our customers by offering remote software management of our games, and we want to provide our customers with comprehensive use-data of our games. We want to expand our software team for this, and we’re looking for an experienced software engineering manager to realize this ambition.

**What You’re Responsible For**

As a Software Engineer (Backend), your list of responsibilities includes:
Write efficient, maintainable, and clean code following best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit tests for own code to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Actively participate in code reviews, standups, and other team meetings to ensure code quality and alignment with project goals.
- Study, evaluate, understand, and provide feedback on functional specifications.
- Identify areas for improvements to improve solution quality and development efficiency.
- Conduct research and prototyping of software and protocols to inform technical decisions and drive innovation.
- Discussion and brainstorming on innovative solutions

**What We’re Looking For**

Minimum of five years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or a Backend Engineer.- Familiarity with using version control tools such as GitHub.
- Strong familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including schema design, query optimization, and using an ORM.- Experience with authentication services such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT for implementing secure and seamless user authentication.
- Working knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions.

**Additional Attributes**

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams.

**Qualifications/Education**

Master’s degree level in Computer Science or related fields, attained either by education or by experience.
