Configuration Oversight

**Role Summary**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Project New Star team for the Aladdin/eFront Configuration Channel Oversight role. The position holder will be responsible for providing oversight support and coordinating activities across various workstreams within the Aladdin/eFront configuration channel. This includes facilitating communication and collaboration between teams involved in configuration processes, promoting proper change management for configurations, monitoring progress, and assisting in resolving any configuration-related challenges that may arise. Additionally, the role will encompass configuring and supporting Aladdin for our Front Office traders and portfolio managers.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Own and manage the configuration channel of Aladdin for Project New Star, ensuring adherence to project implementation stages, timelines, and deliverables.
- Own and maintain the configuration design project artifact, which maps Aladdin configuration to corresponding accountable & responsible parties in our organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track the configuration implementation progress, such as requirement gathering for configuring portfolios, securities, private assets, benchmarks, and other relevant data within Aladdin/eFront.
- Act as the single point of contact from vendors for configuration related queries.
- Ensure proper execution of the configuration processes, maintaining accurate, traceable, and up-to-date configuration data within the system.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Aladdin configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues, working closely with the vendor implementation team and internal workstreams.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to configuration processes, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Aladdin configuration with other systems and processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in Aladdin configuration methodologies

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields.
- Minimally 5 years’ of strong experience in configuring the Aladdin/eFront systems, including portfolio setup, security setup, and other related configuration processes.
- Understanding of the full end-to-end investment process for asset manager and ability to demonstrate this.
- In-depth understanding of financial concepts, investment products, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in data management and thoroughness in maintaining accurate and reliable data within Aladdin/eFront.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve configuration-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Prior experience working on Aladdin/eFront implementation projects will be a definite advantage (Plus).
- Prior experience in supporting traders / portfolio managers of any financial institution will be a definite advantage (Plus).
- Familiarity with other financial information systems and their integration with Aladdin will be a strong plus (Plus).
- Knowledge of industry data standards and protocols such as FIX and SWIFT is desirable (Plus).
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements within the asset management industry will be an advantage (Plus).
