Senior Director, Digital Transformation
This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
The Senior Director, Digital Transformation (SDDT) is a key member of Global Operations Digital Transformation Staff. In this role, the leader will be responsible to collaboratively identify, develop, and deploy innovative digital solutions aligned with overall Global Operations digital transformation agenda - with a key business objective to improve efficiency of operational processes and enabling proactive, timely, data-driven decision making by the Global Operations functions.
The SDDT, will be responsible to drive the adoption of AI/ML techniques to improve operational performance and will foster innovation by researching applicability of other cutting-edge technologies to further advance HPE’s digital transformation. They will lead a team of data scientists, data engineers, process & technology SME’s while defining their goals and ensuring performance in line with HPE’s Digital Transformation strategy and objectives. The role requires thorough understanding of complex supply chain operations and experience in leading teams which deployed scalable solutions in such environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, motivated, and result oriented team player willing to take this challenge up in a fast-paced environment.
The position is based out of Singapore, will lead a global team, and report to Vice President Global Operations Digital Transformation.
**_ Responsibilities: _**
- Work closely with senior leadership in Global Operations to understand their key business challenges and determine how to leverage AI/ML and other digital technologies to address their needs
- Drive innovation and determine future opportunities to be potentially added to GO Digital Transformation roadmap.
- Stay ahead of current industry best practices and operate as a thought leader in digitalization of supply chain processes
- Build and maintain cross functional stakeholder management, drive synergies across the teams in adoptions & implementation of digital solutions
- Lead effective digital transformation of operations, by leveraging deep domain knowledge and industry expertise, to guide business stakeholders towards improved processes and enhanced resources effectiveness (Management of Change).
- Leverage thorough knowledge of transactional flows in a manufacturing environment and good understanding of ERP, APS and advanced analytics across operations, to determine opportunities for optimization and effective adoption of intelligent insights.
- Lead and motivate a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and technical/process experts to deliver (in partnership with GO Functions) improved solutions across Quote to Cash processes.
- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support GO transformation, keeping customer as the north star.
**_Education and Experience Required: _**
- 15+ years of experience managing teams in the operations, with a focus on innovation and incubation & adoption of digital technologies
- Extensive experience in driving large scale process improvement initiatives
- Advanced Supply Chain and operations experience preferred
- Experience in adopting Advance Analytics techniques to drive efficiency in a SC Operations
- Experience of leading cross-functional (operations & IT) teams deploying scalable solutions in complex supply chain environment with focus on digitalization

- Good knowledge of hi-tech industry and outsourced manufacturing environment
- Ability to drive innovation and management-of-change across the organization accounting for ever changing market dynamics and customer environment
- Advanced Leadership skills with ability to foster collaboration of business and technical teams in a matrix organization
- Advanced communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels in the organization
- Advanced influencing skills with ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to balance between competing priorities with flexibility and creativity
