
Performance Marketing Manager

**The Role**
In this role, you will be supporting the growth team to drive customer acquisition for our new English Learning Product. You'll work on campaign management strategy, management, performance analysis and testing. At the same time, you will also help us set up a best-in-class performance marketing organization and help optimize our overall growth strategy, cutting across paid and non-paid efforts. You'll work closely with peers in the growth organization and cross-functional stakeholders in product management and data science. You will be an important pillar to our overall growth efforts as your support will be vital to the success to the scaling of our new products.
The right person for this role must embrace and love numbers, have a product and user first mentality and creative mind, and likes to be challenged through a constant test/learn approach.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage our ad spend across major marketing platforms: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, and potentially other channels
- Define our paid ads and creatives strategy
- Optimize targeting/campaign delivery and creative choice
- Manage the trafficking and delivery of campaigns assets, ad copies and tracking links
- Implement tests based on causal measurement to improve our campaign performance
- Create tracking links, reports, and campaign insights that deliver real value to our optimization efforts
- Manage external agencies to support on the above and optimize agency vs. in-house deployment as we scale up our internal deployment capabilities
- Specifically manage our creatives strategy
- Set up a system to continually optimize our creatives choice
- Leverage relevant performance to define forward looking creatives direction
- Ensure that creatives meet the required technical and quality specifications and communicate new and existing technical specs to creative production team
- Open high potential new channels in local markets to incorporate into our mix
- Help the team translate our business goals into actionable test/learn roadmaps
- Partner with internal teams such as sales and product teams to enable additional growth
- Use strong analytical capability to optimize budget and share data-driven insights and daily reporting
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience, thereof 3+ in digital marketing and customer acquisition in a direct-to-consumer, lead generation, or app-based business. Work experience in top tier startup, leading advertising agency, or top tier consultancy/bank preferred
- You have a strong familiarity with major marketing platforms, such as Facebook and Google and have worked on paid ads
- You have experience with A/B testing, preferably with conversion lift/incrementality testing
- You have the ability to understand the technical implications of measurement methodologies for campaign set-up
- You are a self-motivated real team player with a hands-on mentality and enjoy working in a dynamic startup environment with lots of room for personal growth and upside
- You are great with data, but can also independently push for business outcomes and rally core stakeholders
