-Join Macquarie’s Commodities Markets and Financing team as an LNG Trader based in Singapore with a focus on growth in physical trading within the region, working alongside our global team. - What role will you play?You will be responsible for providing physical and derivative solutions to meet our clients’ needs, achieving PnL targets, expanding existing relationships and onboarding new counterparties. Your responsibilities will include engaging in short to mid-term physical LNG trading activities, optimising the existing portfolio through physical and derivative hedging, position taking and leading commercial discussions with counterparties.
- What you offer- 3 years’ of experience in LNG trading with a strong existing network
- Good understanding of the LNG trading cycle with knowledge of derivatives and hedging strategies
- An entrepreneurial mindset and driven self-starter who is comfortable in building new relationships
- A keen eye for detail and an excellent standard of work with demonstrated commercial astuteness
- The ability to build strong working partnerships with stakeholders and clients with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
