**About the role**

The APAC head of media is responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness and innovation in Ubers media plans.

The role partners with the heads of marketing in each APAC country to deliver best in class media plans.

**What You'll Do**:

- Leads our media agency management for the region (Mediacom)
- Drives innovation in media plans
- Leads negotiations with local and global media deals with publishers e.g. google, twitch
- Ensures savings targets are met
- Will work on a global learning agenda and innovation projects with the other regions
- Team management (3 FTE)

**What You'll Need**:

- 10+ years of media experience, agency or client side
- Experience with on and offline media
- Track record of managing large scale media investments
- An understanding of the APAC media landscape, preferably regional campaign management experience
- Preferably a formal marketing qualification
- Strong understanding of measurement and media analytics
- Self starter
- Diplomatic and assertive
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders
- Strategic and creative approach
