- Define and implement the category strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, and cost prices to expand both sales and margin. Understand internal and external variables that impact the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
- Lead a team of key account managers and support them in working closely with business partners (Brands & sellers)
- Full P&L responsibility for the category, including revenue, margin, wastage & other supplier income.
- Identify assortment priorities for your category and oversee acquisition of new vendors, brands and suppliers.
- Develop category campaign proposals with the campaign manager to achieve sales goals.
- Drive brands & sellers sales performance through joint business planning and regular business reviews
- Lead market data analysis to address commercial opportunities or business performance issues

Your background:**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree from top undergraduate institution.
- At least 6 years' experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, account and category management.
- Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations, influence and overall relationship management (both internal and external).
- Superb business judgment; has been recognized as an effective manager with hands-on experience in business and data analytics
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability and desire to contribute to wider team performance and culture.
- Strong analytical & communication skills (both oral and written).
