**Position Summary**:
**Duties**:
**Cantel Singapore**
- Supervise and guide the Accountant as well as contract assistant

**AR and AP**
- Clean up AR ageing
- Ensure prompt suppliers’ payments and reconciliation done monthly

**General Ledger & Closing Process**
- Maintain staff related journal entries and schedules
- Mapping of Financials from SAP BYD to Oracle format for upload
- Review of monthly financial statements against Oracle balances with analysis
- Prepare & review of account reconciliations in Blackline system
- Ad hoc reports as and when required

**Tax**
- Review and approve of quarterly GST return
- Prepare and report ECI (estimated chargeable income) to IRAS for corporate tax estimate
- Attend to all tax related matters

**Audit / SOX**
- Initiate annual stock take process and reconcile discrepancies to GL
- Arrange and attend to statutory auditor’s queries
- Review of audited financial statement and XBRL filing
- Liaise with external / internal legal to prepare board resolutions, etc.
- Prepare SOX workflow and gather control evidence and explanations
- Attend to queries from internal auditor

**Regional accounting function**
- Involve in the accounting function, including in-country commercial operation processes
- Liaise with third party outsourced accounting firm for month end closing processes
- Review of local FS against Oracle balances
- Prepare & review of account reconciliations in Blackline system
- Follow up on local tax and statutory audit matters (if required)
- Other ad hoc reports
