Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Strategic Search Partner.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

This is a key role supporting senior management to director level recruitment for Singapore and South East Asia. The role holder will lead, partner and support across all lines of global business and global functions to deliver on HSBC’s strategy through the hiring of world-class and transformative leadership talent.

Principal responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment delivery with a primary focus on direct delivery, supported by external executive search partners, where it makes strategic sense to do so
- Support and, where required, challenge business and HR leaders to make robust hiring decisions which support business and people strategy objectives
- Develop strategic relationships / partnerships with external solution providers (i.e. Executive Search, Assessment and Talent Research)
- Be a primary driver to source world class talents directly through a number of different channels, including referrals, market mapping and insight led work
- Engage with Learning and Talent to ensure there is an optimum mix of build, buy and borrow, ensuring the use of internal talent is used not only in succession planning, but also for cross business roles
- Partner with the Human Resources Business Partners, HR CoEs and business leaders to deliver against hiring needs, ensuring they support and partner at every step of the journey

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Multiple years of executive search experience in a large international business e.g. financial services, insurance, investment banking, retail and commercial banking
- Experience of working effectively in a global matrixed manner
- Ability to change the status quo when it comes to the resourcing
- Exceptional research skills and knowledge across social networking platforms
- Well networked across Singapore and Asia Pacific
- Experience working in a global matrixed manner with strong understanding of global resourcing practice and the relationship between workforce planning and
- Experience of partnering with the most senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Experience in all aspects of talent management, offer negotiations, buy outs, etc.
