**Your role**
- We’re looking for a technical quality and test engineer to:
- contribute towards the refinement of product features and stories as part of an agile team
- engage stakeholders in an early stage of the development cycle to determine impact, risks, and user acceptance criteria
- write and execute automated API and UI tests to facilitate automated change and regression testing
- use risk-based test design and execution techniques
- continuously evolve and improve in line with UBS Agile, automation and shift left strategies
- demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing, and implementation teams to roll-out the domain and microservices required

The role will be based in Singapore

**Your team**
- You will be working in the Client Pricing Stream as part of the Private & Corporate Clients and Global Wealth Management Technology division. We provide Client Pricing Solutions for Retail, Corporate and Wealth Management clients in Switzerland and in key global locations such as Singapore and Hong Kong.
- The Strategic Pricing Solution team is currently based primarily in Switzerland, while looking to expand in Singapore. This young, dynamic, and highly motivated team is looking for motivated problem solvers who are willing to take on challenges in a team of software engineering professionals.
- Working in an agile way and in close collaboration with our partners and stakeholders, we put the clients of our software in the centre of everything we do and invest in constantly improving our products and ways of working.

**Your expertise**
- 6+ years experience as a quality assurance engineer
- at least one year experience in an agile development environment
- practical experience with UI Testing e.g. Selenium Web Driver or Selenide
- practical experience with API testing: REST, rest-assured
- knowledge of test framework e.g. TestNG, Junit
- experience with SQL
- experience in Java programming language, Java 8+ is an added advantage
