**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute manual test cases and automation scripts, analyse test results, identify, and report defects or issues.
- Write test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- Play a key role in developing the test framework, automating test scenarios, and maintaining the test infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Be a proactive member of the team and own the automation pipeline.
- Collaborate with the QA team to define test objectives, test plans, and test strategies for various software projects.
- Design and implement robust and scalable test automation frameworks to support efficient and effective test automation.
- Configure and maintain test environments, including test data preparation and test infrastructure setup.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and effectively communicate test results and progress.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent formal training required.
- Have 5+ years’ (QA roles) experience in development/scripting skills in common languages which are Web-driver compatible language such as Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with the Selenium WebDriver API, and good knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Working experience on Web, API automation tools like Selenium, Perfecto, Appium is preferred, Good to have mobile testing.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as experience with source code management, version control, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Strong skill set with RDBMS, MySQL, or other databases. Ability to read & write SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and RESTful APIs testing.
- Strong skills in test case design, test scenario development, and test execution, with a focus on ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Ability to analyse and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts.
- Have good experience working in Agile development environment, DevOps & Jira Usage.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in the QA and test automation field.
- ISTQB - Technical Test Analyst / Test Manager certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in airline and transportation domain will be an added advantage.
