**Blood Donor Programme Department (BDP)**

**JOB PURPOSE**

The Telerecruiter is the first point-of-contact for blood donors at the Blood Donor Recruitment Programme, and performs a critical role in calling donors to book in appointments for them to give blood, recalling donors when blood stocks are low, and informing donors (including walk-in donors) of donation criteria and about key events and recognition programmes.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform tele-recruitment and appointment booking functions
- Handle all incoming calls on appointment-booking, enquiries, etc
- Assist with the implementation of donor recognition programmes
- Perform basic data entry and donation documentation
- Assist with administrative duties as required

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Local Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
- With customer service and administrative support background would be an added advantage

**Outreach Associate (Freelance)**

**JOB PURPOSE**

The Direct Donor Partnerships team at the Singapore Red Cross raises awareness, and funds, to support the humanitarian organisation’s mission in serving vulnerable persons and families. As an Outreach Associate, your primary role is to garner the community’s support for our causes, to positively impact lives. You will work closely with the team leader and be responsible for meeting your engagement and fundraising targets.

This is a freelance part-time position with the opportunity for high performers to transition into a 1-year permanent contract (5-day work week) after 6 months. The permanent role offers a basic salary + commission and growth opportunities.

**Working Hours: Freelance Part-Time (Hourly Rate, minimum 3 days per week, 4pm to 9pm)**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Engage public on street and through tele-calls to promote causes, raising awareness and funds
- Station in office on non-canvassing days to complete administrative tasks and team meetings / trainings
- Contribute to, and implement pitches, ideas, and follow-through to strengthen donor care and engagement
- Be an Ambassador to advocate SRC’s humanitarian mission to the public
- Handle feedback and enquiries from the public/ donors
- Ad hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by SRC

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum G.C.E. “O” Level and 18 years old & above.

- Experience in fundraising and/or outdoor sales preferred

**ABOUT THE PROGRAMME**

RCY Chapter was first established in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 1994 as an advanced CCA for members aged 17 to 25 years old to hone their skills in volunteerism and humanitarian knowledge. Today, there are 18 Chapters across tertiary educational institutions across Singapore from Universities to International Schools. Chapters aim to equip members with the ability to plan and execute programmes and initiatives that will be led by the youth members themselves with support from Red Cross Youth. Our support for Chapters include administrative and budget support, in addition to complimentary Standard First Aid and Psychosocial First Aid training support provided by us. Chapters also support SRC by leading volunteer initiatives for each community service programme under SRC.

- Work with volunteers of RCY and Volunteer management to coordinate Volunteer recruitment and management
- Provide logístical support by preparing reports and tracking event logistics
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
