**Summary Role**:
Maxeon is seeking a world-class Renewable Energy Product/System Testing Intern based in Singapore. It is expected that most of this work will be carried out at a new state-of-the-art Maxeon RD&D Laboratory to be created in Singapore. Job responsibilities include research and development of new solar technology that pushes the limit of efficiency at lower cost, working closely with Maxeon’s renowned US based R&D team, and supporting existing teams in deploying and optimizing solar technology at Maxeon’s factories. This work is expected to include both cell and module technology development for Maxeon’s advanced product portfolio. The goal of these activities is to support Maxeon’s business objectives, including market expansion, with targeted advanced technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Renewable energy product/system electrical performance testing under guidance
Assist testing platform setup and materials procurement
Ideas contributor for testing design and results postprocessing
Cross-team support on testing needs in other projects
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Electrical engineering background is recommended (Electrical/Mechanical etc.)
Team spirit owner, willing to learn and share
Problem-solving mindset, ideas contributor
Good communication and documentation skills
Solar energy related knowledge and experience are value added
