Job Description

  • Position Title: R&D Engineer
  • Working Location: Bedok
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.15 AM PM
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,000 Transport Allowance AWS Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Researching electronic components and designing new products to meet market needs.
  • Supporting the complete R&D project life cycle and participating in all phases from concept to manufacturing through designing, prototyping, validation, and production of R&D products, taking into account the functionality, feasibility, quality, manufacturability, costs, and completion time.
  • Giving concise and informative demos/presentations to other team members or product managers about design concepts.
  • Finalizing a design and its deliverables to facilitate a smooth transition to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing product documentation like the bill of material, material specification, and process documentation.
  • Evaluating processes and design improvements.
  • Coordinating with the Global R&D team.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience with passive electronic components design
  • Has understanding and work knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
  • A good understanding of product safety, environmental testing, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) will be advantageous
