**JOB SUMMARY**:
Provide leadership and supervision of the shipping team and operation to best service its customers by providing the preparation, documentation, shipment, and traceability of all outbound materials.

Manage shipping warehouse, shipping stocker and shipping document activities.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise shipping department activities, set priority and schedule workload to ensure all customers orders as well as internal customer requirements are met.
- Administer corporate’s policy and procedures.
- Maintain area and equipment in safe working condition.
- Assure all appropriate systems, procedures, documentation, and performance indicators relating to shipping functions are established and continuously improved.
- Keep accurate reports, including daily and monthly reports.
- Assure actual activities are compliant with documented procedures and to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain effective, professional communications and participate in problem solving activities within plant customers and with freight forwarders. Assure that the department understands and achieves expected levels of customer service, response time, follow-up, creditability, and availability.
- Facilitate training and development of subordinates.
- Evaluate the performance of subordinate and develop action plans for improvement.
- Develop goals and objectives for the department consistent with corporate objective, improve teamwork and growth in individual professional competence.
- Provide ongoing coaching, leadership, and supervision to all staff in shipping department.
- Facilitate on-time and quality shipments.
- Available to be on call to support outside working hours if needed and work varied schedules.
- Schedule finished product delivery methods and work closely with sales personnel on customer impact.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent supervision, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain systems and documentation.
- Ability to comprehend and operate electronic and physical material tracking systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of ERP System (e.g. SAP).
