It established its headquarters in Al-Midra Tower in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and have 3 other global offices in London, Singapore and Fujairah. Today, the company is recognized globally as a critical trading partner for refiners, shipping companies, financial institutions, end-users, and other product-trading companies. The company trades across the barrel including Crude, Middle distillates, Light distillates, bulk petrochemicals, and polyolefin.

Supporting market growth and the integration of downstream assets, Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS), commenced its trading activities in July 2018. ATS’ focus is on integrating Saudi Aramco’s downstream assets in Asia and expanding third-party trading by focusing on naphtha and, more recently, LNG.

**The Function**:
ATS Market Analytics team directly supports the trading desk in the Front office. Provide analytical and pricing decision support to Traders and Trading Managers. Support Business Development by providing analytical support to specific BD projects. Provide market research support to senior management.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Support a Trading Desk (~60%)
- Develop and Own the assigned Product Detailed Supply and Demand balances for up to 6 months ahead, and become the SME for the balances - understanding the key drivers for changes
- Provide views on forward product cracks, refining margins, demand outlook, and eventually trading insights for assigned product
- Develop and Own arbitrage and cargo economic models
- Identify opportunities and threats to the product group
- Perform Ship Tracking Identify opportunities and threats to the business
- Develop and update SD, Refining, Flow models, as needed (~25%)
- Support Senior Management and Business Development for general market research on ad hoc basis (~15%)

Provide analytical support to BD projects, as assigned by Global Head of Market Analytics

Develop country/ customer profiles

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a marketing or trading analyst role (in the Front Office) supporting energy trading desk
- Experience with a trading desk/ company is preferred
- Familiarity with refinery, petchem configurations and product specifications
- Exposure to Refinery LP /optimization program is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills to collect, process, and evaluate large amount of data
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA) to analyse data effectively
- Quantitative skills (statistical forecasting) and knowledge of other programming languages (such as SQL, Phyton, and R) is strongly preferred
- Experience with data/ dashboard visualization software is a plus
- Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and develop business case
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to combine industry knowledge with analysis of internal and external data to present actionable insights, opportunities and threats for the business
