**About This Opportunity**
As the Group Vice President (GVP) of APAC Consumer Products, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and driving growth and development within the APAC region. This includes category and consumer segmentation strategies, retail and licensee relationship management and organizational leadership. You will be a key member of the executive team and actively participate in strategic planning for the business unit that will drive growth while supporting the long-term global vision for Consumer Products (CP).

**As the Group Vice President, you will be responsible for**:

- Developing strategy in support of financial goals, product category objectives and retail sales plans for APAC within a multi-billion dollar retail consumer products licensing organization
- Collaborating in partnership with Franchise Management, Creative/Product Development, Finance & Business Development and cross divisional partners as appropriate
- Activating global franchise development and strategic category plans in each region while working closely with global leaders in Burbank
- Leading team development and organizational strategy in partnership with local and global People & Culture (P&C)
- Developing and strengthening relationships with best-in-class licensees and retail partners
- Driving consumer insights in support of key categories and retail channels, leveraging competitive analyses, data mining and business trends, including geo / political / socio /economic factors
- Driving and implementing all contractual agreements with licensees and retailers, partnering with Business Affairs, Legal and Finance
- Achieving gross revenue and profit objectives, set by Burbank Sr. Management
- Driving regional sales efforts for all categories of business to maximize revenue, retail presence and promotional exposure
- Developing business plans for new opportunities that include: strategic partnerships, market expansion, new business models, channel expansion, etc.
- Driving relationship and management of Key Accounts as well as local management of Global Accounts
- Engaging Senior Management of key retail accounts to promote Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) initiatives
- Directing International CP Leads across the APAC region to formulate country specific retail strategies and priorities aligned to the overall CP strategic plan
- Managing entire APAC staff, including regional staff, agents and country based WBD CP employees. Managing the Finance/Business Planning function in partnership with Burbank. Providing training and development opportunities
- Through International CP Leads across the APAC region, ensuring local Retail & Marketing plans are developed and activated to drive commercial priorities
- Working closely with cross-divisional stakeholders to drive CP business throughout the region
- Establishing deep relationships with cross-divisional leaders and teams as appropriate, to further the integration of APAC CP to other WBD divisions, country objectives and cross-divisional executions
- Developing performance metrics, monitoring regional cross-category results and adjusting resources to drive growth
- Monitoring competition and business trends within the region; maintaining knowledge of markets, regulatory and political forces, etc.
- Performing other duties as assigned

- Extensive experience in category management, licensing and/or vertical operations, retail, marketing required
- Experience managing across territories and/or regions a plus
- Previous experience managing remote business and teams in multiple countries strongly preferred
- College Degree/Equivalent experience required
- Must have knowledge of category management, retail and franchise marketing
- Must have thorough knowledge of licensing industry
- Must have effective and proven communication and negotiation skills
- Must have leadership experience motivating and activating a team
- Must have effective and proven management skills
- Remote leadership experience required
- Effective communication and diplomacy required
- Travel requirements: up to 30%
