**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Cloud Infrastructure SME, t**his role covers both:

- **Operations**:Maintaining and optimizing existing cloud infrastructure (“keeping the lights on”).
- **Projects**:Designing and implementing **end-to-end cloud solutions**that meet business needs

You will **architect, optimize, and manage cloud environments**, provide **technical guidance to vendors**, and ensure that IT infrastructure is **secure, reliable, and fit-for-purpose**.

This is a **senior, hands-on role**, ideal for someone who can **recommend solutions confidently**and **lead vendors and projects independently**.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and manage **end-to-end cloud infrastructure environments**.
- Lead infrastructure projects, including **enhancing existing systems**and deploying **new solutions**.
- Provide **technical guidance and direction**to vendors and partners.
- Troubleshoot **complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure issues**.
- Ensure infrastructure is optimized for **performance, security, and cost efficiency**.
- Maintain documentation, manage asset lifecycle, and ensure operational readiness.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and **recommend solutions aligned with business objectives**.

**Requirements**:

- **5+ years hands-on, end-to-end cloud experience**(Azure, AWS, GCP, or other major platforms).
- Proven experience in **designing and implementing cloud solutions**(not just support).
- Strong understanding of **networking fundamentals**(Class A/B/C, routing, VPN, cloud connectivity).
- Experience in **hybrid or multi-cloud integration**is a plus.
- Experience **leading vendors/partners and managing projects independently**.
- SME-level problem-solving: able to **evaluate options and recommend solutions confidently**.
