Job Responsibilities
As we are scaling the media spend to drive growth, we want to ensure we are effective across our ads and communications along customer journey. As the Advertising & Insights Lead Specialist, you will take ownership of effectiveness of our ads and customer journeys while the channel owners drive the growth:
- Drive creativity and testing of ads for our performance marketing channels. One of the biggest drivers for performance marketing is the ads we run. To drive the effectiveness of the ads, you will need to gain customer insights and know what ads works best in performance channels. You will need to be creative in ideas while being data driven in decision making. You will define the communication strategies based on insights for different funnels and channels and translate the strategies into creative ideas.
- Collaborate with creative team to build a process to deliver ads that will perform and align to brand guidelines. You know how to be open to different ideas, inspire creativities, while ensuring the process delivers right decisions and performing ads. You know how to build robust and clearly defined processes that will run efficiently while evolving to test new approaches and ideas. Build brief templates, define tools and collaboration processes, communicate with stakeholders to ensure clarity are essential.
- Ensure long term planning on creative resources supporting the channel growth. You will be able to plan and prioritize the ideas with deep understanding of impact, 80:20 rule. With the objective and targets in mind, you will need to align with stakeholders on the resource.
- Oversee the allocation of budget in different channels and ads, which is not only driving efficiency, but also aligning to business strategy how we are positioning to the market.
- Build effective consumer journey from ads to onsite to purchase, while be consistent in communications. The ads are only the first touch point, to drive effectiveness, you will also need to ensure consistency and experience on the website and touch points.
- Leading and coaching the team to drive excellent executions. As the company grows and evolves, people will also need to grow their capabilities. You will foresee the company's needs, know the potential and aspirations of people, and grow the team to the next level.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 - 8 years' experience in advertising, performance marketing or customer research
- Experience in translating insights and strategies into creative ideas and solutions.
- Experience and understanding of how performance marketing works and what creatives tend to perform better
- Experience in coming up with creative brief and storyboarding. And like to work with both creative and performance teams.
- Open for testing and new ideas. You are an entrepreneur and inspire creative ideas from people
- You care about the details and set higher standards for what we show to customers
- Strategic mind and structured, keeping the big picture in mind to drive key initiatives
- Experience in planning and leading the team to deliver specific measurable objectives with some direct supervision
- Have capabilities in identifying and solving complex problems innovatively, and be proactive in finding resources and prioritization
- Is able to lead some cross-functional projects independently
- Experience in people skills in growing team members' performance and career development
- You will be curious and willing to dive deep into the insights behind data. And use data to guide the decision and initiatives.
- You are comfortable gathering relevant data, making assumptions and decisions, measuring and validating assumptions in the channel operations.
