**What You'll Do**:

Wrangling connected industrial data (1000+ of sensors, billions of data points, work orders, log entries) in CDF using our Python SDK and Apache Spark Data Source
- Perform data cleansing and exploratory data analysis
- Implement physical/empirical models in Python into our model hosting environment
- Prototype and deploy machine learning models
- Utilize and contribute to solution templates and best practices
- Build data products in Grafana or Power BI (more tools being supported every day)
- Follow internal learning track to develop domain knowledge

**Who You Are**:

- Prior success as a Data, Product, or Decision Scientist working on challenging problems at scale
- Previous engineering experience is a plus, but more importantly you are excited to learn about the physical industrial world from the real experts (our customers)
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field
- 2+ years / Sr. Data Scientist 5+ years of industry experience, with expertise in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analysis
- Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
- An experienced Python coder with a well-equipped toolbox
- Full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring
- Strong desire to solve tough problems with scientific rigor at scale
- Ability to write and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Grit and determination to "figure it out" when technology is disagreeable
