Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Alternatives Senior Manager, Business Operations.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Setting up and implementing a global operation reporting framework with relevant management information to support Alternatives director within the different senior management, change, business and risk forums as well as corresponding governance
- Proposing the use and roll-out of collaborative tools to enhance communication and consolidation across local Alternatives operations teams across all capabilities
- Interacting with local Alternatives heads to collect relevant management information to reporting and/or escalations purpose
- Animating the overall Alternatives operations team, coordinating, and consolidating internal queries to contribute to Asset management and Alternatives business communication
- Engaging with Asset management global COO Office, Alternatives business and business Transformation teams for resources, prioritization, and budget planning on a periodic basis
- Supporting project testing when and if required and according to capacity and priorities
- Engaging and leveraging on Specialists Asset management teams to develop Alternatives core systems and service reviews framework on a regular basis.the role will require autonomy, collaboration, communication and engagement with Asset management teams and Alternatives business across countries including Asia, UK and offshore service teams
Requirements
- Degree qualification, preferably in Finance. -Professional certifications (i.e. CAIA, CFA...) and exposure in Asset Management/Alternatives Business are a plus
- Must possess effective project management, organisational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to consolidate diverse and complex business information, and to work towards deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner
- Commercially focus and client-centric
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively across the organization; Team-player, constructive and balance working attitude
- Collaborative and inclusive working approach
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
