Core Network Engineer

**Qualification**:

- Proven experience as a Core Network Engineer with a strong emphasis on Linux-based systems and services.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and scripting tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge on server hardware and operating system (Linux). - Basic knowledge on network protocols such as SIP & TCP/IP Layer
- Deploy and configure Linux servers, routers, switches, and firewalls to support network connectivity, routing, and security requirements.
- Implement load balancing, caching, and content delivery solutions to optimize network resource utilization and improve end-user experience.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving Linux-based systems, including kernel-level debugging, packet tracing with analysis, and performance profiling.
- Experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures specifically CISCO routers & Switches.
- Good written and verbal communication skills

**Other requirements**:

- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
- Dependable and flexible when necessary
