Singapore MAJESTIC ROCK RESOURCES GROUP PTE. LTD. Full time

**Job Scopes & Responsibilities**:

- Assist trading team in sourcing and marketing commodities (Steel, iron ore, thermal & coking coal, and other minerals & metals) at international competitive prices and marketing same to buyers in China, India, South East Asian and other countries.
- Negotiations with prospective vendors for the purchase of commodities.
- Liaison with ship brokers, ship operators and shipping companies for freight negotiation and chartering agreements. Obtaining quotes for chartering vessels, terms of charter party, commercial rates, demurrage / despatch rates, laytime calculations and finalisation of charter party agreements.
- Preparation & submission of bid documents for participation in international tenders for supply of commodities such as steam coal, coking coal, chrome, iron ore, etc.
- Coordinating with inspection & survey agencies for loading of cargo at load port and unloading at discharge port, checking logistics & infrastructure facilities, stock-pile position, etc. at mine sites to ensure effective loading operations.
- Liaison with buyers and suppliers for drafts / contracts / documentation
- Liaison with Banks for receipt and issuance of LC’s
- Back2Back LC issuance
- Preparation and Presentation of documents under LC
- KYC documents handling
- Payment follow ups with buyers
- Coordination with internal and external teams on Shipping, Finance, accounting etc.
- Tracking Bank limit utilisation and due dates
- MIS - Trade transactions, Trade PnL, Cash flow
- Admin - Cross-functional
- Other duties assigned as per requirements of the role

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Required language(s): Mandarin, English (in order to converse and liaise with Mandarin and English speaking accounts department for processing of bill payments, bank advice, Purchase & Sales or other Invoice/supporting documents, treasury report etc.)
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Commodities (Steel, Iron Ore, Coal etc) Operations or equivalent.
