Boomi Business Development Manager - Channel & Alliances - Asia
Singapore based (hybrid onsite & remote)

Today we are expanding our reach across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Boomi’s Partner and Alliance ecosystem underpins Boomi’s success. We rely on our Partners to help promote Boomi, identify new business opportunities, co-sell the value of our solutions to customers, and provide the delivery services need to implement our solutions.

This role is key to continuing that success and growing our market share in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Identifying partners and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options and any new or incremental capacity needed.

Recruiting, contracting, and establishing partners within the framework provided by the Global Partner Program (GPP).

Driving technical and sales enablement and certification to meet training thresholds outlined in the GPP and to develop Partners capable of representing and implementing Boomi solutions.

Managing a local G/SI Channel Portfolio to create Referral and Reseller opportunities.
- Communicating with Focus Partners daily/weekly.
- Building trusted relationships
- Evangelizing Boomi
- Gaining commitment to BD Goals
- Adopting global and regional sales and marketing strategies suited to the local Market.
- Working closely with the local and global Boomi resources to develop your Business Development Plan.
- Leveraging Partner Marketing and local Sales resources to coordinate and execute lead generation activities.
- Ensuring that leads are captured and managed effectively by Boomi Sales (in a co-sell capacity) through to close/won.
- Meeting quarterly sales objectives aimed at achieving quota targets for Referral and Resell business.
- Reporting weekly on the state of your business and accurately forecasting expected sales volume and business for existing and new partners.

Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Replicating this in our partner ecosystem as well.

Leveraging Boomi systems and tools and resources effectively in the execution of your role. Engaging Boomi leadership and Partner CXO level wherever possible.

Prerequisite Experience/Qualifications
- English language skills.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working with Software.
- A track record of reliability and success.
- Preferred background in Channel Management and SaaS.
- Understanding of the local IT market and a network of business relationships and contacts.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate technical knowledge.
- Ability to evangelize and demonstrate the business value of Boomi to customers and Partners.
- Ability to engage with key partner counterparts and work closely with the local sales and technical sales engineering team to close opportunities / drive business plan.
- Able to be hands on and be directly involved in a sales cycle and forecasting.
- Comfortable in a start-up environment.
- Some travel may be required.
