- Our client, in construction sector is looking for a Deputy Manager, Investment responsible for supporting the private wealth management of the group’s investment portfolio consisting of equities, bonds, hedge funds and private markets. As this is a relatively new business division within the group, there will be significant growth opportunities for the successful individual.Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Evaluate opportunities across numerous asset classes, conducting industry and market research related to investment opportunities.
- Sourcing and due diligence of direct investments into construction, property tech start-ups, public and private fund investments
- Compiling investment policies, summary reports and recommendations
- Assist in the management of a multi-asset investment portfolio and run daily portfolio monitoring and investment execution.
- Liaising with counterparties, investment advisors and finance team
- Manage reporting process, preparing performance reports.
- Preparation for board meeting materials & briefing management and other stakeholders

To be eligible for the role you will require:

- Degree qualifications in Finance/Business/Economics & with ongoing professional exams or qualified as a member of CFA/CAIA
- Min 4 to 7 years from real estate/construction related with a preference for investment experience within private equity, venture capital, asset management, family office or consulting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, including the ability to analyze financial data, create financial models, perform financial modeling, and utilize statistical tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate investment strategies and recommendations to all stakeholders
