Registration and screening of patients. In the current post pandemic environment, we continue to focus on managing both acute and chronic medical conditions in line with the government's ongoing initiative to promote better healthcare and prevention of chronic diseases.

Dispensing of prescribed medication. There are many different types of medication in the clinic. Part of the job of a clinic assistant is to be familiar with the different types of medication and ensure the right dosages and quantity are prescribed. Doing stock taking and counting of medical stock also forms part of the job scope of a clinic assistant.

Assisting in basic medical procedures (e.g. doing of basic/ complex dressings, removal of stitches, giving of vaccinations and other injections, doing electrocardiograms etc.).

Assisting in administrative paperwork (HSG, CHAS, Medisave, corporate claims, NIR and others).
