**Roles & Responsibilities**

Goodpack is looking for a **Assistant Manager - Trucking & Depot Procurement** to join our Global team. This position is working together with Global Freight and Procurement team, based in Singapore HQ. We are invited to highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team.

**KEY RESPONSIBLITIES**:
Procurement
- Drive Procurement activities in line with Procurement Policies
- Develop & Implement Procurement Policies and Processes
- Be constantly apprised of economic and business situations as they affect procurement policies and strategies.

Trucking & Depots
- Category lead for Global Trucking & Depot
- Deliver Procurement savings through effective negotiation and vendor management
- To ensure that LSP relationships are set up for future continuous improvement and to lead review processes which ensures delivery of on-going improvement.
- Proactively manage all aspects of implementation including entry and exit of suppliers and the ensuing complex change management issues.
- Negotiate competitive rates for all of the major service providers across the organization.
- Review and improve current rate update, adjustment, extension and approval process to eliminate waste
- Achieve cost control, cost reduction, and cost containment targets, and add value to area of expenditure through a strong total cost of ownership orientation and process management.
- Analyze performance and identify/recommend improvement measures.
- Regularly interface with internal and external stakeholders on company, Contractor and Customer logistics issues.
- Follow up and ensure delivery of action items during KPI review

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma / Degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Logistics Management equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge on data / trend analysis
- Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, able to interact with different levels of people
- Strong team player
- Ability to Meet Deadlines
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
