**_What you'll do_**
- Manage and engineer the company's global Relational Database solutions
- Ensure and enhance the integrity of our mission-critical data offering
- Innovate and take responsibility for the database environment
- Troubleshoot and support the databases as part of a global team of DBAs
- Work closely with other teams to improve and enhance the estate
- Make and implement recommendations to prevent reoccurring issues and automate manual processes
- Interface and communicate with all levels of the business, up to and including the CTO

**_You should have_**
- 4+ years' experience as a Database Administrator in a production environment
- Good knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB
- Exposure to other RDBMs' (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Postgres or MSSQL)
- Experience of database management activities, performance tuning, estate improvement planning and implementation
- Complex database replication topology support
- Installation, migration and upgrade experience
- Backups, Restores, HA and DR skills
- Database performance tuning
- Stored Procedures and SQL writing
- Engines: Innodb, TokuDB, RocksDB, Blackhole, Columnstore
- UNIX scripting skills. Strong knowledge of at least one of bash, ksh, perl, ruby, python
- Awareness of production change management processes and procedures
