You will play a vital role in managing and maintaining a project’s infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems. The responsibilities include a wide range of tasks, such as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, ensuring system security and data integrity, providing technical support to end-users, and implementing backup and recovery procedures. You will also play a key role in planning and implementing system upgrades and expansions, monitoring system performance, and optimizing resource utilization. Expertise in technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and adherence to security best practices are essential for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of systems.

We are looking for a Cyber Engineer who can handle the following roles and responsibilities.
- **System Maintenance**: Ensuring the proper functioning of computer systems, servers, networks, and associated hardware and software. This includes handling of the user accounts via Windows Active Directory.
- **User Support**: Providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- **Security Management**: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access, viruses, malware, and other security threats. This includes configuring firewalls, antivirus software, and implementing security policies.
- **Backup and Recovery**: Developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime in case of system failures or disasters.
- **System Monitoring**: Monitoring system performance and capacity to identify and address potential issues before they affect the performance or availability of systems.
- **Network Administration**: Managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance. Possession of CCNA/or some other network related qualifications with some related professional experience is preferred. Experience with IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortigate, and/or Cisco ISE is highly valued.
- **Documentation**: Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
- **Compliance**: Ensuring systems comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices for security and data privacy.
- **Problem Resolution**: Investigating and resolving complex technical issues that may arise, including system crashes, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches.
- **Vendor Management**: Interfacing with vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services, and ensuring they meet the organization's requirements and standards.
- **Virtualisation**: Experience with VMs, Containers, Orchestration, etc is an added bonus.

**Qualities We Value**
- **Experience**: At least 5 years’ experience in a System Administration role.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong technical skills across a range of technologies, including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and security, are essential for effectively managing and troubleshooting IT systems.
