We are looking for a talented **HSE Engineer - Singapore Distribution** to join our team in **Tuas South, Singapore and this will be Onsite role**. **Occasional cross location work exposure in Pandan Avenue might be required.**

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:

- Actively demonstrates safety awareness and promotes a positive health, safety, and environmental culture. Ensures employees are consulted and given the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures.Works cross-functionally, providing technical expertise, to improve hazard prevention and rick control measures, non-conformities, corrective, and preventive actions, driving continual improvement within the site(s).
- Contributes to daily health, safety and environmental operations within the site(s) providing support to solve technical issues. Leads hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs to identify risk improvement opportunities and gaps in health, safety, and environmental compliance obligations.
- Develops and leads training, skills development and internal communications related to hazard prevention and control for employees within the site(s).
- Evaluates site health, safety and environmental data, legal compliance findings, and internal and external audit results to develop improvement plan using a risk-based, data driven approach.Contributes to site(s) Health, Safety, Environmental Management Systems review annually in conformance with Cummins internal requirements. Participates in site audit preparation and formal audit processes.
- Coaches cross-functional teams based on stakeholder feedback, and observations. Actively seeks opportunities for self-development through professional health, safety, and environmental organizations, as a champion of emerging trends.

- Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.
- Implementation of Risk Controls - Selects and implements risk control methods by utilizing the hierarchy of controls to implement sustainable control measures to protect people by reducing overall risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
- Management of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulatory Compliance - Identifies, interprets, and manages legal and other requirements by implementing controls, monitoring, and reporting on operational performance to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental related regulations and standards.
- Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

**Qualification**:

- College, university, or equivalent degree required. Health, Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred. Progress toward Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH or similar certification preferred.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience required, including management of health, safety and environmental industrial safety Standards and implementation of risk controls. **2 years of experience required.**:

- **Registered (Ministry of Manpower) Workplace Safety & Health Officer required.**:

- Applicants with environmental experience and manufacturing experience would be **advantage**.
