**Purpose of Position**

To ensure that movement of cargoes is coordinated smoothly and optimize the storage control of the warehouse. Also responsible for ensuring the safety and health condition of the warehouse is following the Company’s policy on health and safety so as to provide a safe working environment for the warehouse staff.

**Key Tasks**
- To take charge and be accountable for all daily operations of the assigned warehouse and ensure compliance with area guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of any policy or regulation from local authority and the freight forwarding industry.
- Coordinate and liaise with Customer
- & Operations Service and Contractors for collection, delivery, storage, and transfers of all shipments to shippers and consignees daily in accordance with the SOP or any instructions from the operation team.
- Management of complaints for service failures from external and internal parties (within functional scope), including timely reporting, execution of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- C2C & eDC system updating.
- Select, train, develop, motivate, and supervise subordinates; promote teamwork, evaluate performance, and has disciplinary reward responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and support for continuing process improvement efforts so that operations can operate at an optimal cost with highest efficiencies.
- Control and utilize manpower effectively through planning, organizing, and scheduling to maximize operations and administrations within budget.
- Maintain and monitor quality of service by ensuring that DSV’s defined services are met and recommend new and improved methods to enhance the service level.
- Provide support to projects, sales and marketing, global accounts to achieve optimum workflow efficiency for the department and Company.
- Monitor performance on operational excellence and initiate corrective measures.
- Ensure KPIs are met for the assigned account.
- Provide back-up to departmental staff as required.
- Promote, present, and adhere to DSV’s professionalism and policies at all times.
- Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.

**Experience & Education**
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience either on the forwarder or warehouse management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict, and performance management.
- Knowledge in speaking English & Malay.
- Knowledge in writing skill English.
- Preferred with forklift license.
